Fuel smell in cab

Fuel smell in cab
I have a intermittent strong fuel smell in cab. Would this be caused by regen with the exhaust brake on? Or should I look elsewhere or take it to dealer?
truck has 1600 miles on it. I have a short commute to work (5 miles) so I leave the brake on so get a quick warm up.
Thanks for any ideas,
TC
Think it is time to unplug the egr.

Any luck in finding out what was going on? My boss is having the same problem and has taken his truck to the dealer twice and they seem to not know whats going on
Thanks

I don't have a 6.7, but I get a slight whiff of diesel once in a while when the CP3 'seeps' around the seals - do a search on this in the 3rd gen forums if you don't know what I'm talking about... I wonder if Cummins never really fixed the seal issue on the CP3's?
It only happens when it's cold out, and only intermittently. It goes away once the truck warms up a bit and the weather is warmer. I don't even get a drip on the garage floor...

Question...what is the A/C set on while this is occurring? Is it set on fresh air or recirc? If set on fresh air mode, all sorts of smells can make their way into the cab. Next time you smell it, look to see what the setting is.
