This morning my fuel gauge was reading between 1/8 and 1/4 tank, despite having just filled up only 200 miles ago. Near work I stopped and fueled up again and it only took 11 gallons of fuel to top off and even then the fuel gauge only read just above 3/4 full.

Looks like maybe my sending unit is bad. Does that sound about right? Any advice on fixing it?

Searching around, there are threads on much older trucks about this, but not sure how relevant they are to the 3rd Gen.
