Exhaust Brake

I have noticed when running with the exhaust brake on that when I come to a stop with the clutch in and foot on the brake the exhaust brake is still engaged. Should it be?
Thanks in advance

If ambient temps are below 60 degrees F the exhaust brake will stay on to warm the engine. been cold in your neck of the woods?

Even my PRXB Pac brake on my 07 is designed to switch off when the engine reaches 170 degrees.

Unhappy

I have noticed it staying on after the engine is at operating temperture with the ambient temp at 75°F. Looks like another trip to the dealer
