Engine Stalling on rough road
So I was driving through a local area of town and hit a rather rough patch of road. When I came to the end of the road I hit a significant bump, it didn't bottom out my suspension or anything but the engine died. Is this part of the stupid safety sensors or is something else wrong? Once I came to a stop everything was fine and the engine started right back up with no codes or anything.
Ideas?
I live in Alaska and rough roads are pretty common where I plan on going with this truck so I need to know if there is a way to keep this crap from happening.
Thanks!

Sounds like a loose connection or an intermittent short. Start by LOAD TESTING the batteries to make sure you don't have any breaks in the battery internals. Make sure all of your ground connections are clean and tight. Check your wiring harnesses for any signs of chafing, especially the one behind the A/C compressor. Make sure that all connectors are tight. While you have the fender wells out, might as well change out the fuel filter just to rule that out.

Yeah that sounds like an electrical issue to me. Where to start, geez. Not a whole lot of wiring on these trucks so it shouldnt be hard to track down.....
What Gatorama said would be where I would go first. I had a bad battery on my 08 cause all kinds of funky issues.

I do have a few keys on my key ring but this happened with just the single key as well. This truck is a 2009 and only has 40K on it. I'm wondering if something is loose on the power system. I already checked it for codes when it happened (used the on off key 3 times trick) and no codes came up. It acts like I have just applied power to it so I wonder if it is something to do with the batteries....time to bust out the multi meter.
