Engine dies when I hit a speed bump

Ok DTR - HELP!

I'm driving along this morning through a construction zone where they have milled out the pavement. I hit the edge of the pavement doing 35mph, everything is fine until the rear axle hits the ground. Then the engine dies like I had turned the key off . The weird part is I have no turn signals, no codes, no nothing. If I coast to a stop, turn the key off and on again, it starts up and drives just fine. I'm wondering if this is a rollover sensor or some sort of safety BS that I can disable or is it a lose connection somewhere.

Ideas?

Please help, I'm getting really ****** about this and quite frankly it scares the hell out of me to have a semi with heavy equipment behind me when my engine dies because I hit a bump .

Thanks.

My truck would do this and I found that having a lot of keys on my key ring would jiggle the key around so I took them all off and all is fine. I also had an injector failing and the truck would shut off, it scared me also.

Apparently I need to be more specific. I have a 2009 6.7 Laramie with the 68RFE. The issue appears to be electrical instead of something wrong mechanically. I have seen some issues around the internet about the "TIPS" (totally integrated power system) board having issues. I think I'm going to start with cleaning the contacts on it and applying some dielectric grease on the individual contacts. I'm hoping that fixes it. Apparently the TIPS system board is a $900 part and can only be installed at the dealer because they have to write all the options and VIN number into it with a software programmer. Has anyone heard anything about this?

Thanks guys.

Before you start messing with the TIPM I would check all battery connections to insure they are clean and tight. I would then check out the grounds wires on the frame from engine and battery and any other electrical component also insuring that they are clean and tight. Are the batteries the original ones since new? If they are have them load tested to insure they are good. Then you need to start checking the sensors on the engine such as the crank shaft speed sensor one of them could be failing and causing a short. Do you have any codes showing on try to read them with a code reader. This may indicate if you have a sensor issues. some other areas to look at first.
