Electronic transfer case

Looks like more '08's (2500/3500) have the electronic transfer case engagement than manual. For those of you who have the electronic engagement (and would consider yourself a frequent user of 4wd), what's your opinion about the system? I'd rather have the lever to engage the transfer case, but if the technology makes the electronic engagement a sound system.......

I'm looking at getting a 2010 C&C and those seem to mostly have the lever anyway.

I'd prefer the lever too but it was not available for my truck - so far it has worked very well.

After having three Dodges with the electronic set up, I'd never go back to a manual shifting transfer case.

I use 4 x 4 every day in and out of the ranch, working heavy trailers in Hi and Low ranges. Never had a problem. But, what's important is to use/operate the TC frequently.

When the weather is really sorry and stormy, I sure don't miss the "good ol' days" of getting out and turning those hubs in ankle deep water either.
