We had a call from a customer at the shop I work at today. He took his truck to the dealer for an ECM recall and while there he was informed that there was a code in his old ECM indicating that he had a plugged EGR valve and they want to clean it. He says that the check engine light has come on and went back out occationally. This truck only has 32,000 miles, is this something that he is required to pay for or would it be a warranty issue?

 

should be covered under then 36k warranty.
