EGR cable removal?

I unplugged the EGR servo today and while doing that started wondering if removing the cable was possible and if it would produce similar results as to the deactivation of the EGR system while not throwing codes?

Why are you unplugging the EGR Cooler stock?

That will just toss codes and cause issues.

No worries. Glad you got it straight before something strange started happening.

The codes may clear if after a few starts. The only plug you want to pull is on the EGR valve, drivers side if you are still stock.
