Dynatrac Hubs rusting!

Just recently put a set of Dynatrac hubs on my dodge ram 2500. Beleive they have only been on the truck for 3 weeks and have surface rust appearing on the hubs. Any one else have this problem or is there some thing I missed when I purchased these?

Are they chromed, or plain steel?

the locking mechanism for the hubs is chrome but the rest of the hub body is just steel (i think mine was painted black). mine also showed a little surface rust but if you put the hub caps back on you can't even see that part and it doesn't hurt anything.

There are steel and will rust like anything else made out of steel.
