Dually frame length

I sold my 06 3500 SRW 5.9 and I just bought a 07 DRW 6.7. Kinda bought the truck blind didnt go look at it or measure anything just payed for it and brought it home one night. Long story short the frame is 9'4" from cab to end.Because its a cab and chassis truck... Its looking like I'm goin to have to put a flat bed on it instead of a regular dually bed. Can anyone tell be what the length is on an 8ft bed frame from cab to end of frame and whats the cab to axle length. Is it practical to cut the frame down move the fuel tank to get a regular bed on it or leave it alone and deal with the flat bed. I need some advice. and dont be like me research something before you pay for it..

I know a lot of guys that really prefer the flat beds. I guess it is all in what you are going to do with the truck. One nice thing, the flat bed really holds up well on Walmart parking lots. (door bangers)

A friend of mine bought a cab&chasis and put a regular box on it then built a headache rack to the frame. It fit the body line nicely and went up just over the cab down to the rockers. I think it was only 5" difference though..

Those warner bodies look great but I would imagine there a little pricey, but its probaly worth the money does anybody know where I can find a flat bed close to S.W. Pa. I found some real nice ones for a good price but everything is around 12 to 14 hours away.
