clutch - power surge?

I have an 07 6.7 6 speed manual 1 ton fwd dually cab chassis. At about 1800 rpm if I give it half throttle or more it revs real quick to 2300 like the tires are spinning or like I pushed in the clutch while giving it gas. It does not matter what gear I am in. It reminds me of my mx days when I would pull the clutch it while on the throttle to keep the motor from bogging. The truck has 32,500 miles. Any idea on the warranty timeline. I also have a major electrical issue that is messing up my rear lights.

Thank you.

Sounds like your clutch is slipping bad. Warranty is for 12,000 miles. Maybe you can conveince them of a bad pressure plate and cover it under warranty. Pay for the clutch disk, through out bearing, and pilot bearing. Or, you could just get a South Bend OFE and flywheel, call it a day and be done with it.

I forgot to mention I have 19.5's. Should that cause early clutch failure?
