It is? Not the ones I have seen at the Dodge dealership under the CC and regular pickups. They are all welded to the pipe.

Maybe the class 6, 7, and 8 trucks have bolted on DPF's, but not the Dodge's I have seen.

The Cab and chassis are one piece, I don't know about the regular cabs haven't seen a regular cab SRW cummins in years in my area. but its will be very easy to remove the one on my truck bacause it's bolted on, reread the cleaning procedure I believe it mentions a flange in the cleaning process.

Cummins sells dodge the long block without warrenty, there is no cummins support, you can't even bring your dodge 6.7l cummins into cummins for engine work. Cummins service guy told me this bit info, he can't remember the year that dodge started this.

I was sure it's bolted. wouldn't make much sense to weld it if it is a maintenance part. I'm going to double check for you tomorrow.

By certified I mean EPA emissions certified. EPA Certification is either by chassis or by engine (e.g. can be installed in different vehicles). Prior Cummins engines in Dodges were EPA engine emissions certified. To my knowledge the 6.7 pickups are the first to be EPA chassis certified (probably some advantage for DC).

Pickup engines are certified to 2010 emissions standards and are in fact the only engine in the world that meet those standards and are for sale in an OEM application at this time. Therefore the emmissions system will not change until 2013 (next level of reduction after 2010).

The CC's are only certified to 2007standards.
