CEL with tranny code

Have an 07 C/C with the 6 speed auto (25-k miles) a few weeks ago went to start the truck (after setting 8 days) and would hardly turn over the finally started. The CEL light came on right away. Took in in for service and was told there was NO codes, left it 2 day for them to recheck and it did the same thing to them, slow turning over and finally DEAD. They checked and charged the batteries no CEL no codes then the next day after quick start up CEL with 2 or 3 codes for the tranny. I can't remember which one for sure, but they had to order parts and said it was fixed. Now when hooked up to my hay trailer or horse trailer with the tow/haul mode on the tranny shifts hard and fast and down shifts hard as well. But only seems to do this with a heavy load. Have tried it with around 5-klbs and no problem, but with 12-k lbs there is something wrong.

Any ideas???

last flash I had done started the same thing but only when e-brake active. I shut off tow-haul when at lower speeds with heavy load.

I did notice with the brake on it is real bad! We just can't figure out why it only does it when I am loaded with more wieght! Have drove it with upto 6500 lbs. and will not do it, but as soon as I hook up to the big horse trailer
(12,640lbs unloaded) it does it every time..

Now we have found a noise while driving unloaded. Sounds like a wheel bearing noise but it is coming from the trans.

Driving between 65 and 70 is when it happens. I can speed up, slow down or just let off and it goes away.

I called Dealer today and found out they replaced the front pump, valve body and something else. Now I am having problems, but no CEL now.

Trans codes will come with a low voltage problem , how did they get from slow crank to ffront pump /vb , sounds like shotgun repair , go someplace else , is ur slow crank fixed ?

Yep, had the same thing while ELk hunting. Left the power inverter on too long, ran down the battery and it threw a generic trans code. After driving it and shutting it down a few times the code went away. Funny though, the Edge would not clear that code out.

Sounds like the batteries are killed though. Make them throw a couple of new batteries in it
