After reading the posts on turbo failure, dpf problems, stumbling on acceleration, etc, etc.
I was wondering are only the pickups having these problems or are the C&C having the same problems too.
Thanks

Luke, have you heard of any hesitation, or stumble that's not pertaining to acceleration?? mine sometimes will have a funny hesitation when going downhill like on interstate with the cruise set??? you can kinda feel the throttle rolling in & out? I haven't gotten any of the TSB's done yet either, my dealer is a little slow & thinks I don't need it, says if it's running ok to keep driving it?? what are your thoughts, should I have it done? or leave well enough alone??? thanks, Dusty
Hi Luke,
How are the Dodge pickups doing that you have sold?
How are the Duramax LMM's doing that you have sold as a comparison?
Ultimately I think the Dodge pickup will be ahead since they require no further changes to be 2010 compliant.
Thanks in advance.

As for the LMM Duramax's I will be delivering my first one this week. GM always has this problem of getting the new product to market. I had sold twenty 6.7's before I got my first LMM. I got four or five LMM's here now, but nobody is beating down the door to buy them. We are predominantly a Dodge dealer.

I have had a throttle control valve failure on my cab and chassis. It was a intermittent problem that was heck to find until it finally completely failed and set a code. After that it was fixed and I've had no problems since. I also had the dealer where I bought the truck try to put a reflash on the truck that was for a pickup. My DPF was full within 75 miles. It erased the memory in the computer and took a tech at a different dealer a couple of days to figure out what was done to the truck and how to fix it. I haven't had any problems since then and I will go over 60k miles tomorrow. I've also had a module replaced in the Aisin transmission by the dealer that screwed up the attempted reflash so I'm really not sure it was needed as I never noticed any shifting problems at all. Other than that all I've done is drive and change fluids as needed.
I have been a superduty powerstroke owner the majority of my small life (owned 4 in the last 6 years.) I have had my share of issues with the 6.0 liter and I religiously maintain my vehicle and drive it right.
Where I live I see nothing but cummins pulling heavy loads, big tractors, big "D" dozers and a light went off in my head to give them a try.
I just bought a 6.7 and have had no problems like I have read on these forums. True, I only have 1500 miles but it seems people are having problems right off the bat....
I will keep every posted on any issues that might arise and what solutions are found... I REALLY DO LIKE MY NEW TRUCK....
