I just called Carson Dodge for a price on brake pads.

oem pads:
front part # 5093276 $159.08.
Rear part # 5093275 $129.67.

V Line pads are $78.20 for front and the same $ for the rear.

I would like the oem pads, but the prices are high. Is this what they should cost? Are the part #,rs that I got right? Meaning the pads that originally came on the 04.5 2500 ram? Does anyone have a good online source?

I just called Reno Dodge and got similar prices. But got some additional info. The V line pads are Value line and they are garenteed for as long as we have the truck. Are these any good? I was not planning on turning the rotors and am also wondering if the compound is compatible with the oem ones?

 

this is the 6.7l forum, you might have better luck on the 5.9l forum for the 04.5 2500 that you mentioned.
