I have good detailed pictures of the rear leafsprings on the DRW cab and chassis. I will send these to anyone interested. Can someone please take some pictures of the rear leafsprings on a SRW cab and chassis and post them or PM me? I want to see if the suspension is the same. I am hoping the suspension is the same between the SRW and DRW models so I can buy the SRW model put 19.5 inch tires and load it up.

I am trying to decide whether to order the SRW or DRW cab and chassis. My problem is I want a SRW truck for offroad reasons but the SRW GVWR is only 10,200 while the DRW GVWR is 12,500. With my camper on it I estimate it will be at about 11,500 lbs.

I have searched for people who have done a DRW to SRW conversion but I can not find any clear explanations of whats involved to make the front hub the same as a SRW front hub.

On a side note. I looked at the 5.9L 2007 3500 SRW and DRW trucks and the rear suspensions are different. The dually has a different main leafspring pack. The dually has one less leaf and they are thicker.
