Has anyone installed an EGT gauge on your 6.7 engine yet?

If so what are the EGT's you are seeing (normal and highest)? How about during a regen?

I have a 2007 QC, 3500, 4x4, DRW Laramie - 6.7, 6 speed auto, 4:10s with about 450 miles on it. We installed the EGT probe post turbo*. Running down the freeway I see 600 to 750 or a little better. Took it up the grade the other day an maybe broke 1000.

The EGT gauge on the 07 reacts much the same as the EGT gauge in the 01.5 in the signature (with the EGT probe installed pre turbo) and the temps running down the freeway are similar.

At shut down the EGTs on the 2007 take a lot longer to cool down. However I understand this is the case with all post turbo installs.

I don't believe the truck has gone through a regen yet.

FWIW the 07 was bought at Cole and picked up the 3rd week of May.

* Note - Would have preferred to install the probe pre turbo, but didn't want to remove the turbo to do so and also intend on keeping this truck stock and preserving my rights under the warrantee.

The egt are quite higher on the 6.7 than the 5.9. We are seeing anywhere from 1200 to 1500. That is pre turbo with the Juice. Its about the same as my 05 with mods..

I have the quad commander installed in the down pipe and with 13000 lb 5th wheel temps are running at 750 t0 850 at 12 lbs boost. Turbo takes about 2 min. to cool to 490's for shut down. The temps on the commander and the chrysler data miner at the upstream o2 are dead on.
