ABS problem

Exclamation ABS problem

My abs comes on after driving for a minute and stays on. The truck have water damage..but I changed everything except the brake system. does anyone know if I need to replace the brake system that comes with the abs or is it fixable?

Hello. Since you dont have a signature filled out Im assuming you have a much later Dodge than I do so I am not much help. When I was having the problem you described I wound up taking the truck through a car wash that did a good underbody wash to get rid of a bunch of dust and crud. After it dried I never had the problem until it got really dusty under there (where the sensors are) again.
You might want to repost your problem in the 2007 and up section and maybe someone there can help since the help area is primarily for people who are stranded.
You might want to also explain the water damage you mentioned and also fill out a signature including auto or manuel transmision and any other goodies you might have. It might help someone who has been through it before.
Hope you get it fixed.

It's easy to find problem go to dealership and check what code is in the ABS module. Possible sensor but which one?

Just go outside and look at them. Should be one in the rear axle housing, and one on each front wheel. You can see the entire thing in the rear, but you can only see the connector on the fronts. You gotta remove the wheel and rotor to see all of it up front. Mine messed up and one of the front wires rubbed just a tiny bit on the inside of the rotor. I simply repaired the wire and sealed it up good.
