Yeah, this turd has a big half plastic intercooler mounted 180* to ours. Looks like an 05 CTD intercooler, but smaller, thinner.

"God, please send my poor little 03 back to me soon, I promise not to sin too much more this year, Amen."

Tell you the truth I havent heard that, but my the has an 08 avalanche w/ the top of the line interior and has had one issue w/ the inside, but the steering shaft has that dang chunk in it

And like said before the Dmax pretty much has been the same engine from the start just little tweeks w/ every version

We have a 08 F-350 dually at work. Empty it hasn't averaged better than 12. It dropped to around 9-10 pulling a trailer with a 4 row planter on it. Our 06 dodge was pulling a tandem dual gooseneck with a tractor and still made better mileage.

all of you guys think the 6.7 is so great, what about diesel in the crankcase, what about the plugged up dpf, what about the bad fuel mileage, 7.8 to 9.2 if you drop it off a mountain. blown up 6.7 plus turbos, spend more time in shop than it is on the road. they said they built a semi out of a 1ton truck. you think that is a big joke? plus leaving you stranded every where. wait till you try to trade it off. out of over a $50,000.00 truck, had about 6 mo, offered me $25,000.00 trade in!! you talk about a real turd.put this in your pipe and smoke it. nothing like getting stabbed in the back for owning a dodge.ANOTHER BIG TURD!!!

No I have not seen those problems at my dealer or almost everyone I talk to (the only one I saw was plugged up DPF do to wrong fuel and long idle time). I think Dodge did a great job.

ROTF LMAO

I'm sure that same post exists for a 6.4L Ford forum and a Chevy 6.6L forum. No vehicle is perfect. Do your research before spending $50k on something you probably don't need.

Yea, but if that really happened to that guy, he has every right to be ticked off. Your right they're lemons in every car company (My sister just had a new Honda accord lemon lawed), but when you drop around 45k, you should expect a truck that wont fail you.

I'm not sure but I have tried to comprehend what you said here. Either way, I haven't had any of those problems. I'm curious now, I'll have to go back and look at your first two posts.

Any one really paying $50k for one? Are there stickers out there that are $60k? on 2500/3500s.Any NEW vehicle you lose your butt in the first year of ownership and I would think most dealers have a idea of what was paid for one.I can see trying to trade back in in 6 months and taking a big hit in the wallet. Its ALWAYS been that way.But now most pay one thing thats usually invoice or below but expect the trade in to be based on what the window sticker was.Thats NOT going to happen. On problem trucks I could see the MANUFACTURE stepping up and helping with getting out of one in the first year if needed. After the intial deput of the 6.7 seems like lots of issues with them have subsided or at least it seems that way from these forums.

Not one problem with my 6.7 and the $54,000 sticker was purchased for $42,000. Including lots of goodies and good will...
