6.7 sulphur requirements?

A friend of mine in Oregon, is thinking about, buying a new 6.7.
He spends 9 months, a year in the Portland area, the other 3 months are spent in Mexico.
PEMEX, fuel in Mexico, is Low Sulphur, up north, it is now all Ultra Low.
Will he have any problems with this?
Thanks in advance

Pretty sure if he ran LSD for the 3 months in Mexico, it would harm the injectors and the emissions system. 6.7's were designed for ULSD.

In 3 months time his DPF would be all screwed up from LSD. He would also have to change his oil more often as CJ-4 oil is not made to handle LSD fuel.

6.7

Sounds like it is time to wait, before running this engine in Mexico, for extended periods.
I will stick to my 12V, less technology, less electronics, less headaches!
Thanks again

my buddy down in Argentina hasnt had any issues with his injectors at all. i cant imagine any issues with added sulfer on the injectors but his DPF did give him issues since changing to the bypass no more issues. he's not coming back tto the us so hes not violating the law
