Does any one know if the 6.7 had a problem with the cp3? dads noticed too night he has a weep on the driver side behind the tire looks like were the pump might be i think? truck has 4000 miles on it he is going too take it in for his service and see what they say

 

He should crawl under and check his fuel filter for leaks.

 

Wow - I would've hoped Dodge/Cummins finally figured out that the Bosch CP3 design was causing leaks, especially in cold climates, by now...

Has it been really cold in your neck of the woods? Do a search on this thread for CP3 leaking and you'll find all kinds of stuff.

I had mine replaced a couple of years ago with (I'm guessing) a rebuilt one with the correct seals. I haven't had (knock on wood) a leak since.

 

we hit -49 here this winter and no problems, the only thing is after -40 the overhead does not want to read that low, guess that means i should have stayed in bed

 

Found it. Master cylinder leak dealer replacing master tomorrow
