Has anybody heard a new 6.7 with a straight pipe in place of the muffler. I just itchin to hear one. I know you can't remove the cat or particulate filter , just with the muffler out. Are there any clips on websites with samples.

 

Weeks ago someone posted that their buddy removed the muffler from his 6.7 C&C and the truck sounded the same. I haven't been brave enough to try it yet! Someday (101,000 miles).

 

MBRP has a straight pipe kit and a "filter back" kit with a muffler. I don't think they have any sound clips though. I'm planning on straight piping mine when I have some time. It's got to sound better than it does stock.
