I expect to be questioned about it but since I don't have and never have had a chip or programmer on it I'm not concerned.

Incorrect. There have been guys that have hit 1800 degrees racing these new 6.7s. Lots of testimonials of 1600-1700 degrees when pulling heavy. I won't worry about EGT's unless I see upwards of 1600 when in regen.
