5.9 or 6.7

I am looking to purchase a new used truck I presently have three 5.9 24v trucks I want a mega cab and can't decide on the 5.9 or 6.7. I like to put performance products on my trucks, which will be the best for me and get the best performance and fuel milage?? Thanks for your help.

Can you delete a 6.7 where you live?

Willing to go without the possibility of an warranty?

If so, 6.7 hands down. The ONLY downfall is the 68RE aftermarket is not where the 48RE is

yet....

I love my 6.7, especially now that it can breath. Every time I drive it I like it more and more...

when I first bought my 6.7 I was pretty down about the performance of it. I only got 13mpg it wasing having rail pressure issues, The truck was just not up to par in my book.

About $1k later its like a whole new truck. With the smarty only on sw3 and 4"TBE its a monster and can out run/pull/mpg my friends 5.9 all day long. Now every time I drive my truck I like it even more......and I can always turn up the smarty too!

Hope my little story help in a round about way
goood luck with your new truck (which ever you choose)
