Well I traded my 04.5 for the 08 and First off let me say that I LOVE the transmission so far... It is sooo much better than the 48RE (junk)!!

Now I have to get all the add ons put back on to make it mine... I always feel like I have to run the stock tires off before I can upgrade back to 285's so it looks normal again... Maybe I just need more money or therapy to fix that problem...

Mileage hasn't been that bad so far... I haven't finished a full tank yet to get a hand calc'ed mileage but the over head liar says 17 unhooked and 13.5 hooked up to the cargo trailer... I expected much worse... Nice surprise!

Yeah, I've got a whopping 2000 miles on mine and I needed new tires already. I got some Nitto Dura Grappler 285s and Man! Those tires are expensive when you buy 5 of them new. I'll be posting pics soon. My truck looks different from any I've seen on any of these truck boards. Some will like it and some will hate it. I think it looks great but I'm waiting on one more part before I take pics......
