2009 Pricing

Hi guys new member here. I am in the market for a new dodge diesel, and I have been seeing posts of guys getting $13,000 off sticker price. Is this true or are some guys just finding the really good deals? I owned a 2001 and I loved it, so I bought a late model 2007 and had all the troubles I am now reading about a lot of other people having. I traded it in on a gas job and I have regretted it ever since. Just want my diesel back and was wondering what kind of deals are out there.

I'm looking at around 15,000 off of a $49,000 sticker. Not signed yet but close. I'll keep you informed. 2009 stock is getting hard to find. At least if your picky like me.

I bought mine less than 2 weeks ago and the price including tax, title and license was $10,000 less than sticker. I took the $2,500 rebate and 0% financing.

look at a dealership that has high volume sales and go to their "Internet Sales" and look at the prices there. I bought my 08 exactly one year ago and it was 14k below sticker price. they probably wont bargain below internet price, you will just need to bargain on your tradein value. print off the kbb & nada values and have them with you when you bargain. tax will be based on the cash difference and of course title & license varies with your location. don't let them stick you with any loan origination fees

I priced an 09 3500 4X4 SLT LWB DRW last week that had everything I was looking for. Their best price was $12k off sticker after rebates and I laughed at the guy. This was a no trade in deal. I told him I would do $15k off and walked away, I never heard back from the guy and they still have the truck. I decided since I can't get anyone around here to deal on a 09 on the lot I would keep mine.

I am seriously thinking of coming over from Ford to a dodge. The only problem is I need the full crew cab and I need a long bed too. I read somewhere that Dodge was coming out with this truck soon? Do you guys have any info on it or know hat it is going to be called so I can Google it?. What is the warranty on the dodge diesels these days? Have they cut them back like Ford? Thanks

Go into the 4th Gen 3500 forum. You can get some vids of the new truck.

What dealership is this at? I've been eyeing a '09 mega Cab but have not been able to get anyone to go 15k off. 12k is definately the norm though. Don't know where you live but where I'm at the rebates are $7,000 on HD Rams. Some areas are seeing $7500. (These are with the $1000 Owner Loyalty).

The LB crew cab is listed on the 2010 spec sheet:

http://www.dodge.com/shared/2010/ram...duty_specs.pdf

I'd like one too, but my garage is exactly 259"- the given length for such a beast.

Do they have any Mega Cabs? I'd love to find a dealer that will negotiate that much on one. Dodge changed their incentives today (well they may not have changed), interesting to see what they will be.

Big no go. Oct 1 I am told dodge pulled some of the rebates for the 09 ram hd. Now 2 different dealers are pricing me around 37 to 38000 on trucks with $49000 stickers. Do your research (yes it sucks). Now looking for a sweet 08. MY opinoin a 2yr old truck needs to be at least 5 grand below new. Their close. Time will tell.

Yeah, they got rid of the $1000 owner loyalty beginning Oct.1 ....sucks, now the rebates are $6500 instead of $7000 (with owner loyalty). So I lost out $500 of available rebate. Doesn't make sense, considering what a dismal sales month it was for Dodge in September. And with the new body style right around the corner you would think they would want to move the '09s.
