2007 PCM module
Have a 2007 6.7 dealer replaced TIPM module now they say i need the PCM module TIPM module was $1700 installed now they want another $3000 for the PCM. Any ideas

You haven't described your symptoms so it's pretty hard to help give advise on something without knowing your issues. If your at a Chrysler dealer they should be able to follow the standard troubleshooting protocals. If not I would be looking for a more competant dealer to work with.

Sounds like they are just throwing parts at it. What codes were setting? Dealership are required to give you print out when vehicle is written up in service drive of all codes stored and active. Did they give you a print out if not I would ask them for one. Then we can better help you. PCM and TIPM do fail but usually not at same time, ask them what DTC's were set in TIPM and PCM and what diagnostic tests were performed on your vehicle to confirm those modules needed to be replaced.
