with the edge insight would I still need to plump in a pyro to the manifold or is there already one in the newer dodges. If not i will definitely get the edge insight. What all will have to be done to get the edge insight to function properly, like for the trans temp or boost or anything else. Any help or info is appreciated and thanks in advance.

With the insight you still have to pop the manifold for the pyro, and it aint no cake walk, its tight. Takes a right angle drill at a minimum.

Other than the pyro, the Insight is just one plug to the OBDII, thats it.

Let me rephrase my statement,

Its a lot easier to drill for the pyro if you do the cooler delete. I did mine before they had the cooler deletes available.

I drilled mine and don't have any cooler delete. There are a few things in the way for sure. I bought a right angle attachment for cheap at Harbor Freight and it was pretty simple once I got everything into position.

I drilled my pyro with a regular electric drill and the egr is still intact (yet non functional, hmm, how did THAT happen? ). She was snug and some fiddling was required, but it can be done. The rest is really easy. All the parameters, trans temp, coolant, IAT, boost, etc are easily accessible. I will warn you, if you use your personal computer to set up the alerts, some of the parameters are a little cryptic. As in, I had the regen alert set and it is not a yes/no option, its a 1 for yes and 0 for no. If you understand binary its not bad but the manual could be better.

I still love the Insight though.

There are 10 kinds of people who understand binary....

Those who do, and those who dont.
