I serviced my new work truck the other day, a 2007 3500, it has a new crate motor 5.9 in it, since my 03 2500 holds 12 qts i dumped in the 12 and fired it up till pressure, and let it sit for a while, checked the dipstick & nothing?! i checked the manuel it states 12 qts.. i put the dipstick from my truck in it and it still was about 2-3 qts low? the oil pan looks normal as in the stock one. the part # on the stick dosnt look like a Dodge part #? but the 03-07 take the same dipstick, so why does mine from my truck show low still....really starting to feel like a dipstick..
