Hey Hoss, isn't Wix owned by Ford?

But really folks, the only "off brand" filters that are specifically mentioned in the TSB are Motorcraft (owned by Ford, right Hoss?), AC Delco and Purolator. BTW the Fleetguard Microglass filter is not approved for 24 valve engines, ONLY the 1st Gen and early 2nd Gen 12 valvers.

Ummmm......nooooo.....no, I don't think so. Ford DOES own Fleetguard (through Cummins), but I don't think they have any affiliation with Wix. Could be wrong though... :-
