Will my Check Engine Light go away?
I did some searching and I think I got a CEL and P0191 from turning the key on too long without starting the engine. The light has been on for a week. Do you think it will eventually go away or do I need an appointment with the dealer?

I have an 05.. that code is a rail pressure mismatch... It will not go away.. I have had it twice and both times had to have the dealer clear it...
mine happened in the drive through.. shut the truck off to order and started it to quick.. The rail didn't have time to bleed to 0 psi... the truck looks for 0 psi on the rail when it starts...

it's not "starts" it's drive cycles....a drive cycle is when the truck starts cold and goes up to normal operating temp...a certain amount of info has to be sent back to the ecm from certain sensors before it is considered a drive cycle....it could take a month to rest a CEL if you don't drive much or very far....you should also make sure the code is not there for a reason.
