Why do greaseable ball joints last 10,000km only on our 3rd gens?

Are you greasing them from the abs sensor?

I just replaced balljoints on one of our trucks that had about 330,000mi on the clock. Wish I would have known about the XRF's before I put the greasable Moog's in, but time will tell how long they last. Does anyone have a link to the manufacturer of the XRF's handy?

Yep. Been working ok so far. I wish I could get the dirty grease out, but hey my bearings wont ever run dry on grease.

I will continue this till they go bad.

So who knows...

I bet you'll be ok with the moog joints.

I wish the price would come down a bit on the heavier duty versions

Just need to remove the the allen screw that holds the abs sensor to the hub. Once removed it gives you access to the bearing. I just used a grease needle to inject some fresh grease into the hub. There been alot of talk about this through the forums.

Couple things that may not have been mentioned. Do you tow real heavy? Do you have a heavy body on the back? If the front end of truck is up in air when towing or the weight you carry this will wear out ball joints fast. So if you have these issues. Maybe a set Timbrens or Super sprins for rear

sure wish this could be done with 12V

with some folks reporting 330k miles of service from their joints ... doesn't match with folks saying under 50k miles of service even when kept full of grease.
