Mopar,

That's great information, very thorough!

Did you make a typo on your ratio? You typed 128:12. I think you mean 128:1, is that right? Thanks.

As for the other additives...
In my book they are failing badly...[/QUOTE]

Can you tell a newbie how to read this chart and what it means. I've been using the Stanadyne performance formula with MMO mix since new. currently at 9500 miles.

SO far 100 miles on the TCW3 and I really like it. I started with 1/2 ounce of it per gallon...

OK I'll bite, I'm too tired to figure out how much two stroke oil to put in a 85 gal fuel system. What is the ratio per gal at 128 to 1 ?

That would be 54oz\85gal - 1 2/3qt

32gal would be 20oz

Really simple... The highier the HFRR number the more wear. The HFRR is in microns. So if you go to...

http://www.calculateme.com/Length/Microns/ToInches.htm

and type in the HFRR number this is how much wear is occuring in the test sample. This also could be occuring in you fuel system of your truck.

You want the HFRR to be as low as possible.

<460 is acceptible by all engine manufactures.
<520 is the requirement of todays fuel
636 is the test sample of ULSD that didn't recieve a lube package...

I thought it was one ounce per gallon of fuel ratio to add, I am glad I went with only half ounce then!

It is 1 oz of oil to 1 gallon (128:1 Ratio) the test was done at 200:1 ratio or 22.4 ozs to 35 gallons of fuel...

So actually 2 cycle oil woul be really close to bio-diesel at 128:1 ratio...

OK,OK,OK, ya got me. I am switching from the MMO/Stanadyne mix to 2 cycle. Although I had no problems with the MMO, my engine is probably just a worn out shell from the MMO,,, LOL.

I hate to think of all the damage you've done.
