who know's '04 exhaust?

i have an early '04, CA SO 235.....am trying to find out the story on the exhaust. i've come across the following: A) 3.5" from turbo to cat, 4.0" from there out the back B) 3.5" from turbo to the muffler, 4.0" after the muffler....which is it? or are they both wrong? anybody know?...........thanks

i don't know about the cat equipped trucks, but my 305/555 had 3.5" from turbo to muffler outlet, then the tail pipe section alone was 4".. i suspect your cat equipped version is the same with the cat installed in the mid pipe [does it really have a cat though?]

i'm certain it does, it is the california emissions thing......what looks like a rounded off folger's coffee can connected to the down pipe from the turbo, then straight pipe on to the muffler...

whooptide,

So long as you KNOW it's a 2004 and not a 2004.5 you will have 3.5 to the muffler and a 4.0 tail pipe. Call us if you need any questions answered etc.
