Came across a truck very much like mine, but a mega cab, with a G56.

Coming from NV5600 to G56, what do guys like/dislike about it. Still rather not deal with a auto and its pitfalls.

Also, I currently have a SB Fe clutch (running a TST twins, MP-8 and PS 62/14...so its making power) , and lord knows it grabby...almost too much in town. What clutches have you guys installed, and thoughts on those.

thinking about trying to swap the g56 out for a 5600 trying to find out if it can be done cheaper than putting in a gear vendors unit

I went from a nv56000 to a g56 and love it. Very smooth and slick shifting. I added a southbend ofe and it works flawlessly.

Ive had both and i really like the G56 I talked to Peter at SBC this morn he said the dual disc clutch was the only way to go for these if you plan to get 550 to 600HP List $1800.00 plus the hydraulic kit $250.00 you should never need an upgrade.
