White smoke after changing to amsoil

I had 5w-40 amsoil diesel oil at first for 9k miles. Then I changed to the HDD 5w-30 and I have white smoke almost every morning when I start up and sometimes during the day when it is extremely hot. I have only noticed the smoke when it is real hot and humid. Could the smoke be from the oil burning because it is a little thinner? I don't suspect an injector leaking because the fuel mileage is great and the oil level is in the safe zone. Thanks Aaron

White smoke is usually unburned fuel. You can have an injector leaking without it filling the crankcase. That happened to me. It's not the oil.

You may also have a leaking turbo seal.
