Angry White smoke

I started up my 03 dodge 2500 and I heard a loud rattleing and white smoke was coming out of the exhaust, every time I would raise the rpms white smoke comes out of the exhaust, after looking around I found some oil leaking out from one of the exhaust joints. The exhaust is a 5" straight pipe, The oil level is fine and radiator is still full of anti freeze.

it's possible,

your turbo exhaust seal is bad or going bad

your rings are shot and are leaking oil by them which is coming out of the exhaust ports

My guess is a bad injector causing the smoke, and it is actually fuel dripping out the exhaust joints. Make sure the oil isn't OVERfull. It's common for a leaking injector to dump fuel into the crankcase.

No like something was loose sort of like the sound you hear when a muffler might be loose, my exhaust system is completely tight, first thing I checked, until I saw the white smoke.

Thanks to everyone who has responded so far

Buddy of mine with a 05 4x4 dually auto ,135k was pulling horses (3 horse gooes neck) through Tenn.I think.Anyway he called me and said he had a werid thing happen.Said he was driving around 68 mph and he looked in side mirrors and truck was pouring white smoke out of it.Said it was so bad some tractor trailers were blowing their horns at him.Said no unusal noises.Seemed to be running fine but could not see behind him it was so bad.Said stayed like that maybe a mile or so then cleared up pretty quick.A few hours later he had a dealer check for codes(none) they checked oil level, was fine, smelled fine.Found nothing.Continued his trip through Tenn.to Kentucky to Florida and back to Georgia all withen 3 days.Truck did fine rest of trip.

if you have a turbo builder close by then I "think" you can have it rebuilt but I am not 100%...we have II rebuild all our industrial turbos for work so I dont know if you could do it yourself.

BTW if it is a stock turbo you can find those all over in the DTR classifieds...
if it is stock then maybe you should upgrade......
