where's the Schrader valve?

OK, just wondering if there is a Schrader valve somewhere between the lift pump and the injector pump on the CR system. I had my fuel pump pressure tester out today checking the lift pump on my truck, and I thought that it wouldn't hurt to check fuel pressure on the filter-mounted pump on my wife's truck*. Well, I expected to see a Schrader valve somewhere, but I couldn't find one. I traced the fuel line from the filter to the CP3 pump and didn't see one. On the VP-44 setup, there is a Schrader valve on the inlet side of the fuel filter. That makes checking lift pump pressure very easy. Of course, since the lift pump is mounted on the inlet side of the filter, I would expected the test port to be somewhere else - like at the inlet to the common-rail injection pump.

Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks in advance.

* Less that 12K miles on replacement pump - spare in toolbox. Not changing to in-tank setup!

No schrader valve or test port on the common rail models. You can add a banjo fitting at the CP3 for a remote pressure gauge for monitoring the low pressure side. Schrader valve from Geno's Garage. '89-'09 Dodge Cummins Fuel Pressure Test Adapter-Geno's Garage

Here's my setup. I bought the banjo fitting at Geno's Garage. Steel Tapped Banjo Bolt - 3/4 SAE Fitting-Geno's Garage

Thanks!

That Schrader valve equipped banjo bolt is probably just like the one on the inlet to the filter on my '01. I think I'll order me one of those.
