Where is intank pump located?

I have a 2004.5 ram diesel. Im pretty sure I have the intank pump because when i turn key forward I can hear the pump priming from the fuel tank area at rear of truck. If a person looks from the top by the fuel inlet spout / fender area can you see it?I can see 2 hoses going to top of tank and a wiring harness. is the harness for the fuel level gauge or for the pump?

The 2 hoses and wiring you see going to the top of the tank go to the stock fuel canister, the pump is inside that. Follow the link in my signature to see what it looks like.

The vent goes to the filler neck. It's not connected to the tank at the highest point, that's why it takes you so long to fill up the tank completely. You can buy a vent mod to relocate it to the high point of the tank. It's very popular, you can fill up the tank way faster and it actually gives you about 5 gallons more than the tank's capacity rating.
