Where Is It Coming From?
I HAVE OIL ALL OVER THE DRIVERS SIDE BOTTOM OF MY ENGINE. I'VE POWER WASHED IT OFF A FEW TIMES. BUT IT COMES BACK QUICK. NEVER DRIPS STEADY. WOULD THAT MUCH OIL BE COMING FROM THAT 1 1/2 HOSE STICKING DOWN. I THINK ITS A OVERFLOW FOR THE TURBO? AND IF THAT OIL IS COMING FROM MY CRANCKCASE DOES THAT MEAN I ALWAYS NEED TO CHECK THE OIL? FIRST DIESEL
WHY ARE YOU YELLING? WE USE OUR inside voices here, hence the lower case letters.
Shove a section of hose on the crankcase tube and cut it off just below the tranny. Oily residue on oil pan, tranny and it's pan and crossmember will disappear.

Check your oil level ASAP!!!..
If it is high you may have a malfunctioning injector and dumping diesel into the crankcase.. If this is the case don't drive it and have it towed to the dealer for a fix..

Well, took it to dealer and they pulled the dipstick and said I over filled it at last oil change and that theres no diesel or coolant mixed in. I know I only put 3 gallons in. Anyways I extended the crankcase hose a foot, so it's past everything. Then powerwashed the area clean. I'm positive it coming from the front diff. Right where the drive shaft enters the diff. and it's slinging it every where. Is this common or do I need to go back to the dealer?
