hi i am looking into a 3rd gen and had a question did some 5.9 trucks in 07 get emissions stuff an 06 wouldn't have or did they just start that for the 6.7 thanks.

 

Starting in 04.5 a Catalytic converter was included which carried on through 07 model year 5.9 liter trucks.

But the real heavy emissions stuff didn't start until 07.5 with the 6.7 Cummins....which includes the EGR and Diesel Particulate filters that "burn" off the soot that collects in the filter.
