From having a 04 with the 555 motor vrs my 06 610 motor the 610 is superior in every way over the 555 especialy if you run it stock. The 610 motor was a fuel hog for the first 15,000 miles but now that it is broke in I am actually doing a little better then the 555 motor while pulling.
But the main thing is neither one of them ever had a single issue.
