What series engine?
How can I tell what series of engine I have? I see all these proformance parts that say for use with the dodge diesel 600 series and so on.

Your 2005 is a 600 series. 04.5 and newer CTD Rams. 03-04 Are 555s

Correct, just make sure you get the 04.5-05 version.
