what motor?

was trying to figure out what motor my 06 5.9L common rail was classified as with cummins is it a ISC or a ISB or something completely different

There will be a data plate on the drivers side valve cover illustrating that you have an ISB.

It is an ISB motor. All 5.9 liter Cummins engines are a "B" series, therefor ISB. The ISC is an 8.3 liter, also known as "C" series Cummins.
