I found a 03 ton dually with 170,000 miles for about $23,000. Its in good shape I just dont know about the 170.000 miles. Is there anything i should check for on the 3rd gens. like the lift pumps ont the 2nd gens, and kdp on the first gens. Thanks

 

sounds steep to me 170k the engine is probably just fine but the suspension and steering wear based on use not time so most likely your gonna have to start replacing worn parts soon its up to you if ya want to put more money into something ya already spent 23k on personally for 15k i'd still have to think very hard about it with that kinda mileage

 

Sounds a bit pricey to me also. Here in Kentucky I have seen several go for close to that with half the mileage.
