Getting ready to dig into t case, tranny, and diff fluid changes. What lubricants does everyone recomend for each job? I'm leaning towards amsoil... How much of each should I order, wheres the cheapest place to get it?

Get onto the website. It is intuitive. It will lead you to your zone rep.

 

I agree, find a rep and get signed on as a preferred customer asap. The web site will tell you the capacities that you will need to replace all of fluids that you want to change. It cost me about 250$( dealer cost ) to change eng. oil/filter, trans, diffs and I changed out the steering fluid with the left over trans that I had. Also the hand pump worsk great for the trans and diffs if do not have any other means of doing so.

FYI: Amsoil prices are going up March 1.

 

I just ordered my fluids for the full change

MTF for the tranny
ATF for the xcase
SVG for the diffs


HDD already in the motor.

 

Thanks John, thats the info I was really looking for... how much of each did you order, particularily the trans and t case?

 

I ordered 7 qts for the tranny, but I have fast coolers. For the xcase I ordered 2 qts (I have some extra at home)

The amsoil website has an application guide that tells you what and how much to order.
