What amsoil

What grade are you guy running for 05 3rd gen 5w40 or 15w40

Unless you are in sub zero climate the 15w40 is the ticket

That's what I usually run 13 qts with bypass filter. Can't remember what year they say to run the 5-40 I run the 15-40 diesel and marine oil.

The 15w40 Amsoil has higher amounts of ZDDP and is desireable.

While either weight will perform just fine, the 15w40 is preferred for the better additive package in it.
