beat to death 600 mileage
well just checked hte mileage 14.87. over all mix of city/hwy bout 1/2 1/2. Now i cant say that im "complaining" as this is a upgrade from the old 360 ram when i got 9-11 in the same conditions and i have a lot more truck now. But the family 99 always got around 17 or so on this route.
Did some searching and couldnt find nethingthat said hey this made it better. except some 100hp injector that between here and tdr said it nets 2 or more mpg. Is there anything i could do to improve this? Like i said im not really all grrrr i hate this truck. I love it. Better than my gas but i jumped on the diesel wagon since i loved hte mileage of the 99.
So if htere are any tips ( not the drive habbits and what not. Cause i drive all 3 trucks and get the numbers the same way so)
If theres no dealer recalls or any lil tricks. Thanks neway

I don't know how many miles you have on your truck but your rings may not be totally seated yet. You can make this happen by working the engine somehow. Towing our 9000lb travel trailer made my truck's fuel economy jump about 2 mpg.
You don't need something this heavy, just something to make it work harder than moving an empty truck around. Besides, it's really fun to tow things with these trucks! It will almost definitely put a smile on your face.

Highten is right, pull something, anything and you will see your mileage move but, not to much. I have moved up about 1.75 to 2 mpgs (hand calculated) with pulling with my 2004.5 quad cab 4WD with auto.

that wouldnt be too bad, an extra two, that would get me right at about 15 city and 20ish hwy. of course this is at like 60 compared to doing it at like 75 with the 99 but keeps me from speeding haha
Who cares about the ticket. Iw ant the mileage!
