Smile Welp, I just bought a truck.

Brand new 2004 2500 QC HO Cummins 4X4 4:10 gears (they didn't have any 373's on the lot) 48RE Larimie H package.

Anti-slip rear differential.

Build date of 4-04.

It has the GPS, that I really didn't want but they couldn't change it.

Black exterior with Taupe colored leather interior.

It definitley has the new car smell, which great.

I'll pick it up on Wed.

I looked at a 3500, which I wanted originally but there was somehting funny about it.

It had a build date of Jan 04 which may me think it's been sitting around for some reason.

Also, it had a few grease stains on the inside doors.

Kind of red flag for me.

I drove both and kind if the ride of hte 3500. They said there was no difference so maybe it was my imagination.

Got 19% off MSRP.

Needless to say I'm very psyched!

Fantastic!!! I'm assuming you drove it up to speed and no vibration... I wish I would've checked mine out first. How bought the mileage? Didja reset the computer and get a steady cruise MPG? You're gonna be grinnin' like a mule eatin' briar!

Thanks guy!

I didn't drive this puppy yet. It was buried in the back lot and I had to get home to plug a hole in my roof before we get slammed with a Nor''easter tomorrow.

I'm up in Boston.

I did drive three though in the last two days. Two 3500's and one 2500.

I took them all upto 70+ and never heard or felt any unusual vibration, nor did I feel any vibration in the streeing column. I was looking for it too.

So I'm pretty confident the truck I picked out is good to go.

It's brandy new.

Still has the plastic wrap all over the hood, etc.

I'm happy with it.

Lock in the 4x4 drive on a dirt road a while, then 2x4 and see if the vibration is there... If it isn't then congrats, and enjoy!!!
