Weird trans shift when warm?

i HAVE A 03 QC AUTO AND WHEN ITS FIRST STARTED UP AND DRIVEN, IT DRIVES AND SHIFTS JUST FINE. BUT WHEN I GET THE TRUCK UP TO 200 DEGREES OPPERATING TEMP. IF I COME TO A STOP THE TRANS DOES NT WANT TO SHIFT FROM 1-2 OR 2-3 WITHOUT GETING ON IT PRITY HARD FROM 2500 TO 3200 THEN IT WILL SHIFT. THERE IS NO PROBLEM FROM 3-4. AND WHEN I SLOW DOWN TO 30 MPH THERE IS A HARD DN SHIFT. NOW THE TRANS DOES NT SLIP AND PULLS GOOD AND HARD, BUT WHY IS IT NT WANTING TO SHIFT IN AND OUT OF THOSE GEARS WHEN HOT. I CHECKED THE CODES AND THERE ARE NUN. I RECENTLY BOUGHT A BULLYDOG POWER PUP BUT THAT DOESNT SEEM TO HAVE AN EFFECT ON THE SHIFTING. ANY HELP OR ADVICE WLD B APPRICIATED.

Typical soultion to that problem is replacing the governor pressure solenoid and transducer.

You can do it yourself in the driveway. just drop the pan and look for the components that match the new ones.
I would do it ASAP, when mine failed I was out of town and it wouldn't shift at all out of first unless I pulled over and let the tranny cool down. Then it would only shift once or twice before it would stop all together.

I'v seen other posts with pictures here. Maybe someone will chime in with some.

The gov pressure system is a fed back system to influence the shifting. The gov pressure must rise correctly with wheel spee dfor the 1-2 and 2-3 shift to happen correctly an on time. The solenoid frequently gets sticky or the transducer reports wrong pressure and the actual pressure delivered to the VB is incorrect.

The are very easy to replace after dropping the trans pan. Basically 2 bolts and and wiring connections and its done.

Here are the OE pieces: http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/...-00053397a.htm

Here is an upgrade available from PATC, Suncoast, DTT, and others.

mine did the same thing last year took it to the dealership and they "couldn't replicate the problem" and it stopped then out of no where yesterday i was driving it and it did it again. I don't know what they did to the truck but its wierd that it hasn't happened in over a year then just came back yesterday.
